low beam (includes parking lam ps,
side m arker lam ps, taillam ps, li­
cense plate lam ps and instrum ent
panel lam ps) are autom atically
sw itched on.
Note:
For nighttim e driving the exterior
lam p sw itch should be turned to
position I D to perm it activation
of the high beam headlam ps.

Standing Lam ps
W hen the ve hicle is parked on the
street the standing lam ps (right or
left side parking lam ps) can be
turned on, m aking the vehicle
m ore visible to passing vehicles.
The standing lam ps cannot be
operated w ith the key in steering
lock position 2.
Note:
W ith the key rem oved and a front
door open, an audible w arning will
sound if the v e h ic le 's exterior
lam ps (except standing lam ps) are
not sw itched off.
Fog lam ps w ill operate with the
parking lam ps and the low or high
beam headlam ps. Fog lam ps
should only be used in c o n ju n c ­
tion w ith low beam headlam ps.

Fog lam ps are autom atically
sw itched off when the exterior
lam p sw itch is turned to
position Q .
