Warning!
W hen closing the w indow s, be
sure that th e re is no dang er of
anyone being harm ed by the
closing procedure.
In case of obstruction, the
autom atic reversal will not
operate if a w ind o w is being
closed by pressing th e switch
to its resistance point and
holding it th ere, or w h en using
a key or the rem o te control.
The closing pro ced u re can be
im m ediately re ve rse d by eith er
pressing the switch E s i , turn ­
ing the key to th e unlocking
position, or releasing and
pressing the transm it button,
and holding it.
The pow er w indow s can also be
closed with the key or infrared
rem ote control w hile locking the
vehicle doors or trunk (see C entral
Locking System in Index).
W arning!
W h en leaving the veh icle, al­
w ays rem ove the key from the
steering lock. Do not leave
children unattended in the
vehicle. U nsupervised use of
v eh icle eq u ip m en t can cause
serious personal injury.
Note:
If the side w indow s cannot be fully
opened or closed a u to m a tica lly by
pressing the button past the point
of resistance (e.g. after a v e hicle
battery change), press E M side of
pow er w indow sw itch until the
w indow is com p le te ly closed and
hold for additional 2 seconds.
R epeat procedure for each
w indow .
The autom atic full opening and
closing procedure of the w indow s
should now be restored.

R ear W indow Sunshade
The sw itches are located on the
center console and between the
single rear seats.
The sunshade should always
be e ither fu lly raised or fully
low ered.
