Power Seats, Front
The slide sw itches are located in
each front door.
Turn key in steering lock to posi­
tion 1 or 2 (with the d riv e r's or
front p assenger's door open, the
pow er seats can also be operated
with the key rem oved or in
steering lock position 0).
Seat and head restraint a d ju st­
m ent:
A Seat, fo re /a ft, u p /d o w n
B Seat tilt
C Seat cushion depth
D B ackrest tilt
E Head restraint
A d just head restraint to support
the back of the head a pp ro xi­
m ately at ear level. The head
restraint inclina tion can also be
a djusted m anually.
Note:
Y our car is e qu ipped with
pow er head restraints, do not
try to raise or low er them
m anually.
W arning!
Do not adjust the d river's seat
w h ile driving. Adjusting the
seat w h ile driving could cause
the driver to lose control of
the vehicle.
N ever ride in a moving vehicle
w ith the seat back reclined.
Sitting in an excessively re­
clined position can be dan g er­
ous. You could slide under the
seat belt in a collision. If you
slide under it, the belt would
apply fo rce at the abdom en or
neck. That could cause se­
rious or even fatal injuries.
The seat back and seat belts
provide th e best restraint
w hen the w e are r is in an up­
right position and belts are
properly positioned on the
body.
N ever place hands under seat
or near any moving parts w hile
a seat is being adjusted.
