Adjusting Headlamp
C orrect headlam p a djustm ent is
extrem ely im portant. To check and
readjust a headlam p do the
follow ing:
• Park unloaded vehicle on level
surface. C heck surface with
ca rp e n te r's level.
• R em ove cover above head­
lam p. M ove retaining clam ps
(5) aside and rem ove cover.
Note:
H orizontal headlam p aim norm ally
never changes and needs read­
justm e nt only after repair to the
body or a headlam p unit. T he re ­
fore, do not turn the horizontal
a djustm ent screw (1), if num ber 0
on scale (11) a ligns with m arker

Vertical headlam p aim:
Turn a djusting screw (2) until the
bubble in level (10) is in center of
the m arking (bold line).
Horizontal headlam p aim:
Turn a djustm ent screw (1) until the
num ber 0 on scale (11) aligns with
m arker (12).
• Reinstall cover and fasten with
retaining clam ps (5).
• Reinstall cover above
headlam p.
