Probable cause
LCD connection error or no power supply
from PLC.
Still in startup waiting time.
EEPROM is damaged.
User settings in EEPROM are corrupted.

Communication error between LCD and
PLC.

Noise disturbing.
Backlight is damaged.
Contrast level is too low or too high.
Do not repair the LCD Option Board by yourself.
When communication error occurs, the error message will be displayed at the
LCD Option Board and the red backlight will blink.
Probable cause
Communication parameters or conditions of
PLC are changed.
LCD connection error.
Noise disturbing.
Noise disturbing.
The length of receiving data is beyond the
range of receiving memory.

The communication between PLC and LCD
is out of service.

Possible solution
Check if LCD is connected correctly and the
PLC power supply is normal.
It's not error. Just wait a moment.
Replace the LCD Option Board.
Press the ESC button to exit the screen.
User settings backed up in EEPROM will be
replaced by default settings. Then proceed
to reset the screens. (See 8-7-3 for details.)
Check if LCD is connected correctly.
Check the communication setting of PLC,
switching DipSW4 to ON.
Check PLC according to error code and
eliminate the error.
Replace the LCD Option Board.
Check the settings and change it.
Retry after the noise is reduced.
