Replacing the tray 1 feed roller/tray 1 pick-up roller

A. Periodically replacing parts/cycle
• Tray 1 feed roller: Every 300,000 prints
• Tray 1 pick-up roller: Every 300,000 prints
B. Procedure
1. Slide out the tray 1.
2. Remove the manual bypass tray unit.

3. Remove the harness cover [1], and
disconnect the connector [2].
4. Remove three screws [1], and
remove the tray 1 paper feed assy
[2].
NOTE
• The tray 1 paper feed assy is posi-
tioned by the shaft that passes
through the back frame of the assy.
When removing the tray 1 paper
feed assy, slide it in the direction of
the arrow.
5. Remove two springs [1], and remove
the cover [2].
