E.3.2 Check the PathManager Settings and Status
When PathManager will not be used, this step is not necessary.
After checking the FC cable connection between the application server and disk array unit, restart the
server and run the following command from the command prompt.
For details, refer to the PathManager User's Guide (Linux version).
1. Check the kernel version
Check that the installed PathManager supports the currently used kernel.
Check that kernel version (A) number shown under uname -r matches the value shown for kernel
version (B) under rpm -qi.
# uname -r
