BIOS EEPROM
The Workstation 5 System Board BIOS EEPROM is located in a 32-pin PLCC
socket, U38. MICROS recommends that you use a chip removal tool similar to
that shown in the illustration below. This type of tool allows removal of the
chip without damage to the socket.
