5.2 Faulty Feeding

5.2.1 Double Feeding

Separation roller, Spring
1) Is the separation roller deformed or worn?
YES: Replace the separation roller.
NO:

Pickup assembly
1) Turn off the power while paper is moving through the feeding as-

2) Try fresh paper. Is the problem corrected?
YES: The paper may be moist. Advise the user on the correct method of

YES: Try replacing the upper and lower rollers one after the other.
