Supplies
The Cisco ASR 1001 Router AC and DC power supplies are shipped installed in the chassis. You must
connect the power supplies when they arrive.
The Cisco ASR 1001 Router can support either two AC or two DC power supplies. Do not mix the AC

and DC power supply units in the same chassis.
