Maintenance, Service, and Repair
REPLACE THE REAR SPRINGS
If a spring has failed or is fatigued, then it is recommended that both springs are replaced as a set.
6. Remove the upper shock mounting bolt from the rear shocks.
7. Raise the rear wheels off of the ground just enough so that the springs can be removed and support
with jack stands.
8. Remove the springs.
9. Install new springs in reverse order.
10. Reconnect the main battery connector.
11. Remove the blocks from behind the wheels.
12. Release the parking brake and test drive the vehicle.
1. Make sure the key-switch is in the "OFF" position, then remove
the key.
2. Place the forward-reverse switch in the center "OFF" position.
3. Set the park brake.
4. Place blocks under the front wheels to prevent vehicle movement.
5. Unplug the main battery connector.
Always use a lifting strap, hoist, and jack stands, of adequate capacity
to lift and support the vehicle. Failure to use lifting and support devices
of rated load capacity may result in severe bodily injury.
