Action
Set to 1.0. After acquiring a first image,
changes to this value may be necessary.
Adjust this parameter to what is displayed
on the MONITOR of the MODALITY. If a
circle or square test pattern cannot be
displayed on the MONITOR, ask the
operator to make a square or rectangle with
the characters from the KEYBOARD of the
MODALITY.
(Note: The "clocks per line" parameter must
be set correctly before you set up Aspect
Ratio.)
Measure the sides of the square or
rectangle on the MONITOR and compare
these values to what is on the film. The ratio
should be the same. A value of .9 is normal
for many Ultrasound MODALITIES.
Using the menu instructions, change or
enter as necessary. The number is checked
after the last digit is entered, and an audible
alarm sounds if the value is not within
range. Enter an acceptable value.
Using the menu instructions, change or
enter the total pixels in a horizontal line
(horizontal active + horizontal delay + front
porch).
Using the menu instructions, change or
enter the number of active pixels per line.
Using the menu instructions, change or
enter the pixel number that is correct for
horizontal delay (back porch + sync).
Using the menu instructions, change or
enter the required number of vertical lines.
Using the menu instructions, change or
enter the pixel number that is correct for
vertical delay (back porch).
Using the menu instructions, change or
enter to indicate if VIDEO is interlaced.

Must be set to ON if an EXTERNAL CLOCK
is used. This menu option will be removed
at a future date. Recommended default is
OFF.
