De-energize the IMAGER and Check
Strength of the GAS SHOCK
(SPRING).
Inspect and Clean FILM TRAY and
FILM FEED ROLLER.
Clean/Install new FILTERS:
1. Clean FAN FILTER.
2. Install CHARCOAL FILTER.
3. Install FAZ FILTER.
Clean LASER SCANNING AREA,
CAPSTAN, and PINCH ROLLERS.
Clean SCOOP, FILM GUIDE AREA,
1--2 SHEET SENSOR ROLLER, and
SEPARATOR O-RINGS.
Clean PROCESSOR:
1. Remove PROCESSOR.
2. Clean PRESSURE ROLLERS.
3. Clean FILM GUIDE.
4. Clean STRIPPER BLADE.
5. Install FELT PADS.
6. Clean DENSITOMETER.
7. Clean ENTRANCE and EXIT
ROLLERS.
8. Clean the DRUM.
9. Install PROCESSOR.
Adjust STRIPPER gap.
Make a print of a film cal sheet and
check quality.
Note
PM at 70,000 cycles is the same as at 10,000 cycles, and at 80,000 cycles it is the same as at
20,000 cycles, etc.
Note
Before turning the IMAGER back over to the customer, check the Error Log for intermittent or hidden
error conditions in the image. If an error exists, correct the problem before returning the IMAGER to
the customer.
