FUEL MESH FILTER INSPECTION AND
CLEANING
If the fuel mesh filter is clogged with sediment or rust, fuel will
not flow smoothly and loss in engine power may result.
Blow the fuel mesh filter with compressed air.
NOTE:
If the fuel mesh filter is clogged with many sediment or rust,
replace the fuel filter cartridge with a new one.
FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY AND
INSTALLATION
Reassemble and Install the fuel pump in the reverse order of
removal. Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the new O-rings.
• Apply thin coat of the engine oil to the O-rings.

Use the new O-rings to prevent fuel leakage.
• Connect the lead wire terminals.
A ......+ terminal for fuel pump
B ......+ terminal for fuel level gauge
• Install the fuel level gauge.
