Place the roll media on the shafts and position its left and right edges to match the grit
patterns.

Secure the stoppers in place in alignment with the width of the media.
Make sure the media flanges are straight. Correct media feed is impossible if either of the media flanges is at an
angle.
Pass the leading edge of the media between the grit rollers and the pinch rollers, and feed
it out as far as the platen.
