Introduction Notes to Follow The TB-30 is a device used to print on thin film material or other such roll media consisting of material that lacks firmness. It is not designed for printing on sheet media. Before printing on sheet media, remove the TB-30.
How to Load Media Load the roll media correctly. CAUTION Otherwise the media may fall and cause injury. The roll media weighs about 25 kg (55 lb.). To avoid injury, handle the roll CAUTION media with care. Never load media that weighs more than 25 kg (55 lb.). CAUTION The machine may fail to withstand the weight and tip over or cause the media to fall.

How to Load Media Install the paper tube to the end cap and fix the arm. Fit the paper tube securely onto the (right) stand leg side end cap. Push the arm side end cap against the paper tube and fit it securely. Fix the arm in place with the arm retaining screw.
How to Load Media Pass the media through the printer. Check that the printer's loading lever is in the up position. Switch on the printer's sub power. Check that the following menu items on the printer have been set to "DISABLE." •...

How to Load Media Raise the floating roller (weight roller) toward you. Pass the media between the floating roller and the tension roller. Floating roller Media Tension roller Lower the floating roller toward the back of the machine. Lower the (front) loading lever. Loading lever (front) Close the front cover.
How to Load Media Check the loading status of the media. • The media is loaded straight. • All areas of the media are taut. If the media has slack or is bent, raise the loading lever and load once again. IM P O R TAN T Avoid pulling back the media as much as possible because doing so may wrinkle the media.

How to Load Media Attach the center and both ends of the media to the paper tube (core) using adhesive tape (three locations in total). While pulling the media so that it does not sag, secure the center of the media. While pulling the media from the center toward the outer edges, and fix the left and right edges.

How to Load Media [ENTER]. Press The media is fed out and the screen shown in the figure appears. TILT DANCER ROLLER TO FRONT Lower the dancer roller toward the front. Check that all areas of the media are taut. [ENTER].
