LCD CONTRAST
This function adjusts the display density of LCD by adjusting the contrast
voltage of LCD.
When 0 is selected, the LCD display is lowest contrast and weakest.
When 15 is selected, the LCD display is highest contrast and darkest.
Selecting the Up button makes the contrast higher, while selecting the Down
button makes it lower. Pressing the Up or Down button changes the contrast
without pressing the Enter button. By pressing the Enter button, the setting is
determined and becomes effective.
The timing when this setting is made effective after turning the printer on is in
the on-going system check, therefore the LCD shows the default value 7 just
after powering on.
When the panel setting value is set to 0 and the display is too light to be visible,
initialize the panel setting by restarting the printer pressing the Job Cancel
button.
CYAN / MAGENTA / YELLOW REGIST
This menu adjusts the registration of laser scan printing position for Black in 1-
dot unit of 600 dpi. The adjustment is made when primarily locating the main
unit and when moving it. Additionally the adjustment is performed if required.
The value can be set from -7 to 7 in 1/unit (0 for default).
The setting becomes valid after pressing the Enter button.

SELECTYPE INIT
This function returns the panel setting values to the factory default. However
following panel setting values are not returned to factory default.
a.) A value that can not be set by user
(remaining toner, total printing number of sheets, etc)
b.) Interface setting value
c.) Password of mailbox
d.) Yellow Regist, Magenta Regist, Cyan Regist setting value
1.14.6.6 Support Menu
This setting menu is displayed only when the Support Mode has been activated
by a special operation when the power is turned on, and can be selected. Then
restarting the printer deletes the Support Menu from the Menu.
