Initial setting
Do the following checks show a problem?

• BTR Assy (PL9.1.2) installation
• Sensor TNR Full (PL6.1.13) installation
BTR Assy (PL9.1.2)
1. Replace the BTR Assy.

2. Turn On the power.
Does the error still occur even when the new BTR Assy is installed?
Sensor TNR Full check

Use the Sensor TNR Full diagnosis tool to carry out a Digital Input Test.
Is the Sensor TNR Full functioning normally?
Sensor TNR Full (PL6.1.13) signal check
1. Remove the BTR Assy. (Refer to Ch4-4.2.12.2)
2. Insert an obstruction into the sensor element of the Sensor TNR Full and then remove it.

3. Measure the following voltage at the P/J142 connector of the sensor TNR Full.
P/J142-2 <=> P/J142-3
Is the voltage between P/J142-2 <=> P/J142-3 3.3V DC when the obstruction is inserted,
and 0V DC when it is removed?
Power supply to Sensor TNR Full (PL6.1.13)
Measure the following voltage at the P/J142 connector of the sensor TNR Full.

P/J142-1 <=> P/J142-3
Is there +5V DC between P/J142-1 <=> P/J142-3?
Harness Assy TFLSNS (PL6.1.14) continuity check
1. Disconnect the P/J142 connector of the sensor TNR Full. (Refer to Ch4-4.2.9.3)
2. Disconnect the P/J141 relay connector between the Harness Assy TFLSNS and the
Harness Assy EEPROM (PL15.2.10).
3. Check the continuity for the following lines.

J142-1 <=> J141-3
J142-2 <=> J141-2
J142-3 <=> J141-1
Is the continuity between J142 <=> J141 normal?

Reinstall applicable parts.
