4.2.20.11 GUIDE ASSY CASSETTE R (PL17.2.2) Removal
TRAY 2
Disassembly
1. Remove the COVER FRONT. (See Section 4.2.20.1.)
2. Remove the COVER R. (See Section 4.2.20.2.)
3. Remove the CHUTE ASSY TURN. (See Section 4.2.20.4.)
4. Remove the DRIVE ASSY FEEDER. (See Section 4.2.20.7.)
5. Remove the PWBA FEEDER. (See Section 4.2.20.10.)
6. Disconnect the harness (P/J821).
7. Remove the 1 screw securing the BRACKET LOW PAPER (PL17.4.8) to
the FRAME ASSY OPF (PL17.1.3), and remove the BRACKET LOW
PAPER.
8. Remove the 5 screws securing the GUIDE ASSY CASSETTE R to the
FRAME ASSY OPF.
9. Release the 8 hooks securing the GUIDE ASSY CASSETTE R to the
FRAME ASSY OPF.
10. While pulling the back end of the LEVER LOW PAPER (PL17.4.9) from the
slit of the GUIDE ASSY CASSETTE R, remove it to forward.
11. Remove the GUIDE ASSY CASSETTE R while leaning top of that to left.
Reassembly
1. Keep the GUIDE CASSETTE ASSY R near the installation position, with
the upper part leaning to the left.
2. Pass the back end of the LEVER LOW PAPER to the slit of the GUIDE
ASSY CASSETTE R while twisting it.
3. Pass the front end of the LEVER LOW PAPER through the opening in the
FRAME ASSY OPF, then move the upper part of the GUIDE CASSETTE
ASSY R to the right and keep it in the installation position.
4. Pushing the GUIDE ASSY CASSETTE R to right side, fix the GUIDE ASSY
CASSETTE R to FRAME ASSY OPF by 8 hooks.
5. Fix the 5 screws (gold, tapped, 8mm) securing the GUIDE ASSY
CASSETTE to the FRAME ASSY OPF.
