• Press show Input the extension number to program the displayed user name.
• Press show (Current Programming is displayed).
• Press chg.
• Use the Dial Pad keys to input the name that will be displayed.
• Press save.
• Press Back to enter another extension number for user name programming or
press next to advance to the next database parameter.

Preprogrammed Message

The system has two types of preprogrammed messages; Outgoing and Status
(premises) notification.
• Outgoing (text messaging) works to communicate to an extension by sending
a message that can be displayed. When a user that is making an intercom call
to an extension that is busy or does not answer, they can send a text message
to that extension that will be show on the telephone display.
• Status (premises) notification allows extensions to place a temporary
message at their extension that will be displayed at extensions that call them.
This is helpful in situations where an extension user may be away from their
telephone or is not taking calls. Other extensions that call the extension with
Status Notification enabled will see the Status message in their display, giving
them immediate information about the extension user that they have called.
• Data Range: Alpha-numeric entries up to sixteen characters in length.

Press the dial pad key for the letter until that letter appears.
Any letter can be switched from upper case to lower case by pressing *
AFTER the letter desired is displayed.
Any numeral can be input by pressing * BEFORE the dial pad key is
pressed.
The # key MUST be pressed after each character/number input for
display.
The # key can also be used to insert a space character.
After all characters are entered and # is input at the end character, save
will then save all characters for display.
Seven characters maximum can be programmed for User Name display.
