INSTALLATION The OM-8WRLS wireless handset is a fully functional key telephone set without wires. Each OM-8WRLS handset occupies one digital extension port in the Omega-Phone 924 system and requires a base unit (two handsets per base unit).
To help eliminate misplacing the handset, a belt clip is included with each OM-8WRLS handset. The belt clip is attached to the back of the handset by inserting the plastic posts on the belt clip into the indentations found on the sides of the handset.

When the handset is placed into the charging unit, the red charging light will illuminate. 2. Open the back of the handset, found at the bottom, to install the supplied battery.
WIRELESS BASE UNIT The wireless base unit is a compact radio transmitter that connects the Omega-Phone 924 telephone system with the Wireless Key Telephone Handset. The base units contain Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) that can be susceptible to excessive heat or cold. Therefore, the base units should be mounted in a clean environment controlled area with a relative temperature of 50 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit with a relative humidity of 40 to 80 percent.
