3. Heavy voice channel use can impact message indication updates.
4. The Auxiliary Lamp will flash when VM messages are waiting.
5. The voice mail code (Feature 64) can be programmed on any available Program-
mable Feature Key.
6. When the voice mail code is programmed on a Feature Key, the associated LED
will flash when VM messages are waiting.
7. When a call is forwarded to a voice mailbox, the Feature Key will flash green
indicating that the call can be monitored. This is similar to an answer machine and
if desired, the call can be answered.

Volume Control

The OM-KTD30 is equipped with a volume control that is used to adjust the various
volume settings for the telephone. The following functions can be adjusted:
Adjustments for each function are made while that function is in use. The OM-KTD30
remembers the volume level selected for each function the next time that function is
used. There are four Ringer volume levels.
Whenever the various modes are active, press Volume UP or DOWN to set the volume
for this mode/function.

Conditions
1. Users can adjust the ringing volume while the OM-KTD30 is not in use or while it
is ringing.
2. When adjusting the ring volume, the display will temporarily show the current
setting.
3. When attempting to adjust the ringing volume beyond the highest or lowest set-
ting, a single ring burst is heard indicating that further adjustment is not possible.
4. Volume settings only affect the receive volume, not the transmit volume.
5. Outside parties are not able to detect volume is increases or decreases.
