Install a second OM-308 card
To install a second OM-308 to install:
1. If already installed, remove the four screws that secure the first OM-308 module.
2. Insert the four brass-colored stand-off posts for the second OM-308 module into
the top of the first OM-308 module.
3. Place the second OM-308 module on top of the stand-offs, but before securing it,
plug the ribbon cable into the pin connector socket on the first OM-308 module.
4. Use the screws (removed in step 1) to secure the second OM-308 module to the
stand-off posts.
OM-OPT Option Module
1. Remove the KSU cover.
2. Locate the brass-colored stand-off posts on the motherboard closest to the connec-
tor labeled: FOR OPTION/B.
3. Remove the plastic cutouts from inside the KSU located next to the External Page
Port and IOIOI SMDR/RMP markings.
4. Insert the OM-OPT module connectors into the cutout locations (and on top of the
stand-off posts), plug the ribbon cable into the pin connector socket labeled: FOR
OPTION/B.
5. Insert the screws (provided) to secure the Option Module to the stand-off posts.If
you are installing an OM-VML module, use the standoffs that are supplied with
the OM-VML Card instead of the screws.
6. If installing an OM-VML Voice Mail Card, proceed to the OM-VML section.
7. Replace the cover and power up the system.
