Pre-associated Department Mailboxes
Department Mailbox
At default, there are no extensions programmed into hunt groups 82 - 86. Therefore, if
department mailboxes are going to be used, members must be entered into the group.
The following procedure is used to add members into a hunt group:
In the telephone system:
1. Enter Feature #
2. Enter the System Password; at default 000000.
3. Press show.
4. Enter 6-2.
5. Press show twice.
6. Enter the Hunt Group to program
Hunt Group 1 = 82
Hunt Group 2 = 83
Hunt Group 3 = 84
7. Press show.
8. Press next until Member is displayed.
9. Press show.
10. Press chg.
11. Enter the first member that should ring when the hunt group is dialed.
12. Press next.
13. Repeat steps 10 through 12 until all members are entered.
At the Telephone Extension:
1. At any idle extension press Feature #3.
2. Press an available programmable feature key.
3. within three seconds press chg.
4. Press the interactive soft-key associated with the feature.
5. Press the Feature key followed by 66 and then the department mailbox number
[72 - 76], 66 is a definable mailbox key and [72 - 76] are the mailboxes that are
being defined.
6. Press the interactive soft-key associated with save.
