Record the Department Name and Greeting:
1. Dial 7*.
2. Dial *.
3. Dial the Department Mailbox Number 70 - 79.
4. Input the mailbox password 0000.
5. Dial 4 to record the mailbox greeting.
6. Dial 2 to record the department mailbox greeting.
7. Dial 5 to record the mailbox name.
8. Dial 2 to record the department mailbox greeting.
Record the Department mailbox directory 711:
Once the department mailboxes are established it is important to record the
department mailbox directory.
1. Dial 7*.
2. During the Main Auto attendant Greeting, enter 7 **.
3. Enter 1 for the company ID (always use 1).
4. Enter 1 to confirm company ID.
5. Enter 123456 for the Admin Password (Default Password).
6. Enter 1 for General Settings.
7. Enter 2 to Record Greetings.
8. Enter 1 to record the English Greeting (Only English is supported at this time).
9. Enter 5 to Record the department greeting Enter 1 to listen the current greeting.
10. Enter 2 to record the department greeting.
11. This greeting should list all of the department mailboxes, and how to reach them.
For example "For the Sales Department dial 72, for the Support Department dial
73, for Accounting dial 74, For all other inquires dial 75."
9 = Mailbox Settings
Mailbox settings only affect the mailbox that is entered when accessing the Mailbox
Settings programming parameters. There are six programming parameters which can
be used to customize each individual or department mailbox.
1 Reset password - This allows the administrator to reset individual mailbox
passwords back to factory default, which is 0000.
2 Enable/Disable - When a mailbox is disabled, no voice mail messages can be
recorded. When the mailbox is enabled, it will play the greeting and take a
message.
3 Out Calling Allow/Deny - If enabled the entered mailbox will have the ability
to programmed the voice mail to call an external telephone after a new message is
received. The voice mail will call the telephone number and allow the subscriber
to enter their password and retrieve any new or saved messages. When using this
feature the voice mail places the call and begins playing a message asking the
subscriber to input their password, and then it waits for a DTMF tone. If no tone is
heard the voice mail will play a special "Invalid Input "prompt and then it will
