Music-on-Hold
Feature 52
There is one Music-On-Hold (MOH) input that comes standard with the system. If
connected, all calls placed on hold will hear the music being played. In addition,
digital extension users may monitor MOH as Background Music (F52).

Conditions
1. To use external Music-on-Hold, a music source must be connected to the MOH
connection which comes standard with each system.
2. The connection is a Mono-mini plug, which is supplied with every system.
3. This is a standard 600 Ohm connection
Mute
Feature 76
The mute feature, which appears on a fixed key, allows the user to temporarily disable
their microphone, which allows them to have a private conversation with someone in
their office. Additionally, the Mute key is used to enable two-way communications
when Off-Hook Voice Announce is being used.
If the digital telephone is set to receive intercom calls using voice announce (Hands
Free) and you are having a private conversation, simply press the mute key and the
calling party can make an announcement, but will not be able to hear your
conversation. You must press the mute key to talk to the calling party. Press the Mute
key again when the call is terminated.
