Omega-Phone 924
1 Language
Only English is supported at this time.
2 Out Calling
This system wide parameter will enable or disable the out calling feature for all
mailboxes in the system. If this parameter is disabled, no mailboxes can perform any
external notification to pagers (beepers), cellular, or home telephone numbers. When
enabled and configured by an individual or department mailbox, the external
telephone numbers are dialed when a new message is left in the mailbox.
3 Call Record Reminder Tone
Not used at this time.
4 Storage Length
This system wide setting determines how long a voice mail message can be stored
before it is deleted. At default, a message can be stored for up to 30 days before it is
deleted. The system does not give warning before an expired message is deleted. Once
the message is deleted there is no way for it to be recovered.
5 Incorrect Input
This parameter determines the number of times a digit can be entered before the voice
mail disconnects the call.
6 LAN Port
The OM-VML can be programmed using an Internet Browser such as Internet
Explorer. At default, the TCP/IP Address is set to 192.168.0.220, the Subnet Mask is
set to 255.255.255.0 and No Default Gateway is defined.
7 Broadcast Groups
The system allows the administrator to create up to nine broadcast message groups
(01 - 09). A group such as the Sales Department, Support Department, or even the
Bowling or Softball team, will all receive the same message sent to multiple
subscribers at one time.
