Crankshaft
1. Remove the main bearing case.
2. Remove the crankshaft.
(When reassembling)
• Match the numbering marks ("1", "2", "3", "4", "5") between main
bearing case and crankcase set the casting mark "F / W SIDE"
on the main bearing case facing towards the flywheel side.
• Set the thrust bearings (2), with the oil groove facing outside, into
both side of the No.4 main bearing case (1) and crankcase.
• Apply oil to the bearing case screws and tighten them to the
specified torque.
