Speaker Size — Speakers can be set to Large, Small, or None. Speakers set to Large play
the full range of sound intended for that output channel. Speakers set to Small play only the
frequencies that are above the crossover frequency. The low frequency portion of the signal
from that channel is incorporated into bass management and directed to the subwoofer
(if present) and speakers that have been set to large. Speakers that are set to None, are
effectively removed from the system and do not receive an output signal. (Also see
Bass
Management,
Crossover
Frequency, and
Low Frequency
Effects.)
Tone Controls — These controls regulate the bass and treble settings for the system, using
the SSP 7.1 Setup and Control Software or SIS commands.
