Listening mode selection
Use the drop-down menus to select the preferred listening mode to be associated with each
source format. A full list of all options can be found on page 75 in
Listening Modes with Different Speaker
The available selections are dynamically populated so that they represent only the values that
are available for the current speaker configuration. When input 5 is selected, the only Source
Format available is Analog (see figure 32 below). When a digital input is selected, a full
range of digital source formats is available (see figure 33 below).

The default listening mode for each source format is initially shown. The drop-down menu
offers all the listening modes that are available for each source format per each speaker
configuration.

NOTE: When a listening mode that sums the left and right channels is applied, clipping
is possible on the summed channels. Instances of this include applying Mono,
Mono to All, or PL II/IIx listening modes to a stereo source.
