Printing a colour test

An initial colour test checks for correct cartridge priming, to ensure that all
colours print in a uniform and solid pattern.
To print the colour test
Check that the printer has media loaded.

2 Setup menu/Print Mode menu
Press
3 Quality mode/Photo
Select
4 Utility menu/Service menu/Diagnostics/Colour Test
Set the colour test percentage to 75%.

6 OK
Check that all colour bands print a solid pattern, indicating a correct priming

of cartridges. Run the colour test again if you do not obtain a solid pattern.
