➥ Rotate [AF] control clockwise to increase, counter-
clockwise to decrease the audio output level.
• Set a suitable audio level.
➥ Rotate [RF] control clockwise to increase, counter-
clockwise to decrease the receiver sensitivity.
The squelch removes noise output from the speaker
(closed position) when no signal is received.
➥ When no signal is received, rotate [SQL] control
fully counterclockwise first, then rotate [SQL] clock-
wise to the point that the noise just disappears.

My 7800 automatically goes into Split mode when transmitting on the "Main" side of the radio. It transfers the Main frequency to the "Sub" frequency, goes into split mode and transmits on the Sub side of the radio. What Causes that and how do I cancel that?
