Error Description Troubleshooting
There is a conflict
between the size of
the paper, which is
detected by the Size
Switches, and the
length of paper the
printer detects by the
length of time the
Registration Sensor
is actuated.
1. Print Cartridge is
not installed.
2. The installed Print
Cartridge is not the
correct one.
Toner Low is
detected after 10
prints while Toner
Sensor is on.
Main Motor speed is
less than specified
RPM after 1.3
seconds.
1.Transmitting /BD
signal is longer than
specified value for 10
sec. + t1.
2. The laser power
does not reach the
specified value.
3. Laser signal
intervals become
longer than the Fail
time interval after
Laser warm-up is
completed.

Procedure
Correct the mismatch.
Open Rear Cover.
Go to Paper Size Jam;
Check Size and Open Rear
Cover to Clear. (PSE-1)
page 2-30.
Install the Print Cartridge,
or replace with the correct
Print Cartridge.
Go to Install or Reseat Print
Cartridge. on page 2-33.
Go to Toner is Low.

Power Off and On.
