Selecting Fax Mode

When the Fax mode is selected, the mode key light illuminates. To select Fax mode, press the FAX key.

The Fax mode light illuminates, and the initial screen of Fax mode appears.

Automatic fax reception and several other fax functions can operate in Copy mode (see below).

If the FAX key is pressed while the machine is busy with a copy operation, the changeover to
Fax mode is stored and the Fax mode light blinks. When the copy operation ends, the Fax
mode light illuminates steadily and the machine changes to Fax mode.
