STORING, EDITING, AND CLEARING AUTO DIAL KEYS AND NUMBERS
Storing rapid dial numbers and Speed Dial numbers
Storing a fax number in a rapid dialing allows you to dial that number by simply pressing the rapid key.
A total of 50 rapid dial numbers are available, including group keys.
Storing a fax number in a Speed Dial number allows you to dial that number by simply pressing the
SPEED key, entering a 3-digit number (000 to 299), and pressing the START key. A total of 300 Speed
Dial numbers are available.

Display the auto dial storing screen. (See steps 1 and 2 on previous
page)

Select "RAPID/SPEED" with the

Perform either of the following operations:
[Storing a rapid dialing]

Press the rapid key (01 to 50) that you wish to store.
[Storing a Speed Dial number]

Press the SPEED key and then enter the Speed Dial number (000 to 299) that you wish
to store with the numeric keys.

Enter the fax number of the destination with the numeric keys and
then press the OK key.

Up to 40 digits can be entered.

If you need to insert a pause between any of the digits, press the REDIAL/PAUSE key.
The pause appears as a hyphen (-). To set the duration of the pause, refer to page 147.
