Sub-Address Relay Group Set
This setting is used to program a memory box for relay broadcast of received data upon receipt of a sub-
address relay request. A sub-address and passcode for reception of a sub-address relay request and
the destinations to which the data is to be relayed are programmed for each box. Up to 10 boxes can be
programmed, and the programmed boxes can be checked in the "SUB ADD SET LIST". (See page 144)

Follow steps 1 through 4 of the initial procedure. (See page 143)

Enter a name for the group (up to 36 characters) and then press the

Numbers from 0 to 9 can be entered for the sub-address. Numbers from 0 to 9, as well as
"#" and "
", can be entered for the passcode.

If you make a mistake, press the CLEAR key and then re-enter the correct number.

To clear a sub-address relay group, follow these steps:
(1) Select "DELETE" in step 4 and then press the OK key.

Sub-Address Memory Polling
This setting is used to program a sub-address memory polling box to store document data for remote
transmission when polled by a machine that supports sub-address communication. The programmed
box can be checked in the "SUB ADD SET LIST". (See page 144)
