If you select "1 TIME", the document data is automatically cleared from the F-code
memory polling box after the box is polled once.

If you select "REPEAT", the document data in the F-code memory polling box can be
used for repeated polling.

If you are scanning from the platen glass and have another page to scan, change pages
and press the START key. Repeat until all pages are scanned, and then press the # key.

Make sure the machine is in auto reception mode. (See page 42)

When the other machine calls and polls your machine by F-code polling, transmission
begins if the F-code (sub-address and passcode) specified by the other machine
matches the F-code programmed in the F-code memory polling box.
Adding or changing documents for F-code memory polling
If there is already a document in the F-code memory polling box when you scan a document for F-code
memory polling, a screen appears after step 4 on the previous page that allows you to add the new
document or replace the old document with the new document.
Place the original on the platen glass or in the SPF, adjust the original size, resolution, and exposure
settings as needed, and then follow the steps below.

Perform steps 1 through 4 of the procedure for scanning a document
into an F-code memory polling box. (See the previous page)
