STORING, EDITING, AND CLEARING
AUTO DIAL KEYS AND NUMBERS
This machine includes an auto-dialing feature to make dialing easier. By programming frequently dialed
numbers, you can call and send faxes to these locations by means of a simple dialing operation. The
procedures for storing, editing, and clearing rapid dial numbers, Speed Dial numbers, and group keys
are explained in this section.

To prevent storing an incorrect fax number in an auto dial key or number, be sure to check the
number carefully in the display as you enter it.

After storing a number, print the Telephone Number list to make sure the number was stored
correctly. (See pages 124, 125)

Storing an Auto Dial Key or Number

Auto dial keys and numbers are stored in the auto dial storing screen. Follow the steps below to display
the auto dial storing screen.
Displaying the auto dial storing screen
Begin the following procedure from the initial screen of Fax mode.
1 Press the SPECIAL FUNCTION key, select "ENTRY" with the
key, and then press the OK key.
2 Select "DIAL" with the or key and then press the OK key.
