Removing a Slimline Optical Drive (SR1530HAHLX)

1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See

2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3. Remove the server system cover. For instructions, see
System Cover" on page
4. Remove the bezel if it is installed. For instructions, see
Bezel" on page
5. Remove the screws holding the drive in place (see letters "A" and "B" in the figure
below) and slide the optical drive assembly out through the front of the chassis (see
letter "C" in the figure below).
