Installing and Removing a Hot-Swap SATA Drive
(SR1530HAHLX)
Up to three hot swappable SATA drives can be installed. The HDD0 drive bay is at the left
side of the chassis, The HDD1 drive bay is in the middle of the chassis, underneath the
optional optical drive. The HDD2 drive bay is at the right side of the chassis. The drives
do not need to be installed in order; HDD1 can be installed before HDD0.
Cautions: If you install less than three drives or devices, the empty drive bays must be occupied by
carriers with baffles to maintain proper system cooling.
Note: The server system does not support all hard drives. See
page x for an Internet link to a list of supported hardware.
