Installing the Processor Air Duct

1. Place the processor air duct over the processor socket and DIMMs, using caution to make sure
you do not pinch any wires beneath the air duct. The front edge of the air duct should contact
the front fan module and the top of the installed air duct should be flush with the top surface of
the power supply.
2. Route the power cable through the clip at the side of the air duct. See letter "A in Figure 11.
3. Lay the power cable across the top of the air duct and close the metal clip over the top of the
cable to hold it in place. See letter "B" in the figure.
4. Reconnect the power cable. Be sure to align the cable as demonstrated by letter "C" in the
figure below.
