Testing Packages and Viewing Results
Suppressing the Display of a Message
To suppress the display of a message, perform the following steps:
Task: To suppress the display of a message:
1. On the Test & Resolve view, select the specific message that you want to suppress and select Filter Result
from the context menu.
The Test Result Filter Editor dialog box opens:
2. From the Filter Severity list, select Exclude.
3. In the Description box, enter an explanation for why you chose to exclude this message.
4. Click Save. The message is no longer listed in the package tree
If the same problem is encountered in another package or in a subsequent test run of this package, the error
message will not be displayed.
