Checkpoints
Is Auto Exposure mode set?
Is Manual Exposure mode set?
Is the toner distributed evenly within the
toner container?
Is EcoPrint is enabled?
Is there a message indicating the
addition of toner?
Is the copy paper damp?
Is Auto Exposure mode set?
Is Manual Exposure mode set?
Is the original a printed photograph?
Are image adjust settings appropriate? Perform color balance adjustment.
Did you choose appropriate image
quality for the original?
Is the copy paper damp?
Is special color copy paper being used? Use special color copy paper.
Are the original platen or platen dirty?
Corrective Actions
Set the correct exposure level for auto
exposure.
Use the exposure adjustment key to set
the correct exposure level.
When changing the default exposure
level, adjust the exposure manually and
choose the desired level.
Shake the toner container up and down
approximately 10 times.
Set EcoPrint to [Off].
Replace the toner container.
Replace the copy paper with new paper. Refer to
Set the correct exposure level for auto
exposure.
Use the exposure adjustment key to set
the correct exposure level.
When changing the default exposure
level, adjust the exposure manually and
choose the desired level.
Set the image quality to [Print].
Perform automatic gray adjustment.
Select an appropriate Image Quality
mode.
Replace the copy paper with new paper. Refer to
