MAINTENANCE
Troubleshooting
Problem
"– No File –" is displayed on the
FIRMWARE UPDATE screen.
The touch screen is not working
correctly.
The current time is reset.
Even when turning ON the
NTP function, the clock is not
automatically set.
The Timer function does not work.
The Daily Timer function does not
work.
"The IP address settings are
incorrect" is displayed, and "Error" is
displayed to the left of the IP address
setting.
The audio is intermittent.
Another network part cannot be set to
"IP Address (RF Deck)."
The controller and RF deck cannot
be connected between different
segments.
"The connection to the RF deck has
been lost" is repeatedly displayed.
Possible cause
The firmware file is in an incorrect
folder.
The firmware file name is different.
The SD card or USB flash drive is not
formatted.
The touched point and the detected
point may be different.
The lithium backup battery in the
controller is exhausted.
The transceiver is not connected to a
network.
The transceiver IP address is
incorrect.
The Timer function is OFF. (The indicator
on does not light.)
TIMER
The Timer settings is not set.
"Timer Status" is set to "OFF."
The current time is reset.
The IP address settings are
duplicated.
The network part of the IP addresses
are different between each setting.
The controller and RF deck are
directly connected with a user
supplied cable.
When the controller and RF deck
are connected through a network, a
network switch or Ethernet cable is
not compatible with Gigabit Ethernet.
When the controller and RF deck are
connected through a network, the
audio buffer's capacity is not enough.
The internal reference frequency has
shifted.
"Connection from Different Segment"
is set to "OFF."
The network switch settings are
incorrect.

Solution
Copy the firmware file into the
IC-7760 folder.
Download the firmware file again.
Format the SD card or USB flash
drive.
Calibrate the touch screen on the
OTHERS screen.
Replace the lithium backup battery.
Connect an ethernet cable to the RF
deck's [LAN] port.
Confirm the network settings.
Turn ON the DHCP function to
automatically get the IP address, or
set the correct IP address.
Push to turn ON the
TIMER
function.
Set the Timer settings.
Set to "ON."
Set the current time.
Set different IP addresses to each IP
address setting.
Set the same network part to all IP
address settings.
Connect with the supplied control
cable.
Use a network switch and Ethernet
cable that is compatible with Gigabit
Ethernet.
Change the "Audio Buffer Size (via
LAN)" setting.
When the controller and RF deck
are on different segments, change
the "Audio Buffer Size" setting in the
"Different Segment Settings" menu.
Adjust the internal reference
frequency in "REF Adjust."
Set this item to "ON," and then set
the items in the "Different Segment
Settings" menu.
Check the network switch settings.
L They cannot be connected through
the Internet.
