Frame Format
AMS200 supports the six Information Units (IU) shown in the following table.

This is used to identify the information category of the FCP frame.
1: FCP_DATA (Data In action, Data Out action).
5: FCP_XFER_RDY (Data delivery request).
6: FCP_CMND (Command/Task Management Request).
7: FCP_RSP (Command/Task Management Response).
Meaning
Transfers SCSI Command or Task Management
Notifies FCP_DATA will be transferred.
Transfers Data.
Transfers Status Information
Transfers SCSI Command and the first Data within a single
Information Unit. (Write Type Command)
Transfers last Data and the Status Information within a single
Information Unit. (Read Type Command)
