Deleting a RAID Group

All user data on all LUNs will be lost if all RAID groups are deleted. Back up the user data
before performing this operation.
The unified LU cannot be unified or split unless the LU unifying function (a priced option) is
validated. When a unified LU is defined, the RAID group cannot be deleted. Delete the RAID
group after splitting all the unified LUs in the RAID group. For the procedure for splitting a
unified LU, refer to the LU Unifying Function User's Guide.
To delete a RAID Group, follow these steps:
1. Click the Logical Status tab on the Unit screen.
2. Select the RAID group to be deleted from the RAID Groups.
3. From the Settings menu, select RAID Group and click Delete.
4. A message displays requesting confirmation to delete the selected RAID groups.
Depending on whether there are formatted logical units in the RAID group or not, the
message description is different. Click OK.
When no logical unit exists in the RAID Group:
