6.8 Sending and Receiving a DTMF Code

DTMF Speed

DTMF Speed is the speed to send out a DTMF code.
Transmit speed of the DTMF code can be configured using the number digits to be sent per second. The repeater
sends the DTMF code at the configured speed.
The number of digits per second to send the DTMF code can be selected from 6, 8, 10 or 15 by using KPG-174D.
The following are the periods for Digit Time (transmit time) and Gap Time (muted time) depending on the selected
value:

First Digit Delay Time

First Digit Delay Time is the length of time from when the repeater starts transmitting until the first digit of the DTMF
code is sent out.
Until the length of time configured in First Digit Delay Time elapses, the repeater transmits an unmodulated signal.
