5.1 Tones that Sound When a User Operates the Repeater or When the Repeater Status Is Changed

Power-on Tone

Power-on Tone is the tone which sounds from the repeater when the repeater is turned on.
The volume level of Power-on Tone can be configured by using KPG-174D.

Control Tone

Control Tone is the tone which sounds from the repeater when a PF key is pressed.

Warning Tone

Warning Tone is the tone which sounds from the repeater before or when the repeater becomes disabled from
transmitting, or when the repeater attempts to transmit while the repeater is disabled from transmitting.

This tone sounds from the repeater while the PTT (microphone) switch is pressed and held after
Time-out Timer for the PTT (microphone) switch expired or while the TOT Rekey Time is counting
down.
Also, this tone sounds from the repeater when the repeater attempts to transmit while transmission
is disabled by functions such as TX Disable.
This tone sounds from the repeater when transmission is about to end by Time-out Timer.
This tone sounds from the repeater while PLL is unlocked.
