6 ANALOG COMMUNICATIONS
6.1 Using Signaling
 Current
If the repeater does not receive the QT/DQT configured in Multiple Encode/Decode Table when the repeater
transmits by using the PTT (microphone) switch, the repeater encodes the QT/DQT configured for the channel.
If the repeater receives the QT/DQT configured in Multiple Encode/Decode Table, the repeater encodes the
QT/DQT corresponding to the received QT/DQT.
Repeater Status
Repeat PTT < PTT
(microphone) switch
If a channel is available
or the signaling
configured in Multiple
Encode/Decode Table
does not match
Repeat PTT > PTT
(microphone) switch
Repeat PTT < PTT
(microphone) switch
If the signaling
configured in Multiple
Encode/Decode Table
matches and the
repeater transmits using
the Repeat PTT control
Repeat PTT > PTT
(microphone) switch
Note
• If "Mixed" is configured in Channel Type, "Primary" becomes the transmission signaling when Mic PTT is executed.
• If the repeater transmits using the Repeat PTT control, the repeater transmits with the "Current" behavior.

The repeater encodes a signal using the signaling
(Primary) configured for each channel.
The repeater continues encoding using Primary even
if the signaling (Current) configured in Multiple
Encode/Decode Table matches while the repeater is
transmitting. In this case, if the PTT (microphone)
switch becomes disabled first, the repeater starts
encoding using Current after sending the Primary QT
reverse burst code or DQT turn-off code.
The repeater encodes a signal using the signaling
(Primary) configured for each channel.
The repeater starts encoding with the signaling
(Current) configured in Multiple Encode/Decode
Table if the signaling configured in Multiple Encode/
Decode Table matches while the repeater is
transmitting. In this case, if the matching state of the
signaling configured in Multiple Encode/Decode
Table becomes inconsistent first, the repeater starts
encoding using Primary after sending the Current QT
reverse burst code or DQT turn-off code.
The repeater continues encoding using the signaling
(Current) configured in Multiple Encode/Decode
Table.
While the PTT (microphone) switch is enabled and the
repeater keeps transmitting using the same PTT, the
repeater continues encoding by using Current even if
the signaling configured in Multiple Encode/Decode
Table does not match.
The repeater continues encoding using the signaling
(Current) configured in Multiple Encode/Decode
Table.
If the PTT (microphone) switch is enabled when the
matching state of the signaling configured in Multiple
Encode/Decode Table becomes inconsistent, the
repeater starts encoding using Primary after sending
the Current QT reverse burst code or DQT turn-off
code.
