7.9 Limiting the IDs for Repeat Transmission (User List (Group ID)/ User List (User ID))

Configuring the Unit IDs Permitted for Repeat Transmission All at Once (Unit ID Range)

Unit ID Range is the list in which the multiple Unit IDs permitted for repeat transmission on a DMR digital channel
are configured all at once as a Range list.
The repeater repeats when receiving a call by the Group ID which is configured in Unit ID Range and for which
"Yes" is configured in Valid. Because subscriber units using unauthorized Group IDs are not repeated, the repeater
cannot communicate with these subscriber units. In this case, the receiving subscriber unit is in a silent receiving
mode because the repeater continues to transmit an idle signal to allow the call to be transmitted in a vacant slot.
A maximum of 16,776,415 Group IDs in a maximum of 64 Range lists can be configured in Unit ID Range by using
KPG-174D.

Note
• A Unit ID is directly entered in Start ID and End ID in the same manner as entering a Unit ID in Unit ID List.
• If a Unit ID is entered in Start ID, the same Group ID is automatically entered in End ID.
• Enter the Range list from the Start ID. If a Group ID is not entered in Start ID, the End ID cannot be entered.
• If the Start ID is deleted, the corresponding Range list will be deleted.
• A Unit ID cannot be redundantly configured in a Range list.
